I started listening to jazz--and it was real jazz back then, not "smooth jazz--the year this was made,1958. Just about all the old guys, these included, are gone now and some of them died so young. Paul Chambers: 33; Wynton Kelly: 40; Coltrane: 39. Miles, meaner than most, lasted until age 65. Serious musicians writing and playing America's own classical music.

There have were times of hardship when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
