The Homeless Are Icky.

The people have spoken. By a broad plurality of 72%, the 36 people who weighed in have decided that Seattle's homeless sweeps are happening primarily because "the homeless are icky" and get in the way of maximizing downtown investment capital. About as many people believe "it's just the right thing to do" as believe that the sweeps are about bringing down the Asian heroin cartel, which isn't many. The City Hall lobby pulled hard for neighborhood demand, but not many of those people really read my blog, so they managed a mere 22%.
