On Blogs that Suck

"77 million blogs. Most of them have to suck."
- Mike

As a relatively new blogger, I've learned a few things.

A) The most pathetic words in the English language are "have you read my blog."

B.) Most blogs suck. I'm still looking for one to fall in love with. I found this cartoon on Emasculating Nickname, a blog by a self-described balding 30-something fat guy called Pookie. At least he's got a sense of humor.

C.) You can have a blog that sucks, and for some reason, people will still read it. I'm not sure I understand this. I'm guessing that some people are better at networking than they are at writing.

D.) I don't have a clear niche, or the time and desire to network with other bloggers, so a "readership" is probably something that will elude me. This is different than having a blog that sucks. It's more like having a blog that no one reads. As long as Dr. Wes drops in from time to time, I can live with that.

Congratulations, I read your blog. For once, when I hit the "Next Blog" button out of curiosity, I got a blog in my own language. It wasn't a links site or anything either, it was an actual blog.

My blog is probably among the sucky, and its readers have decreased throughout its lifetime. I think I blog for myself more than anything, so I may look back at what I said and what I thought at a certain point in my life.

Well anyways, a daily updated blog is pretty cool, so you may see me around here more often, to give your blog another reader. Although, you really have no idea who I am. Oh well.
