I keep playing this thing, and it keeps getting faster, harder, and further away from it's origins. Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here is about life in the checked out zone, where the peaks and valleys are slow and even and everything is safe. It's about illusions, loneliness, and the kind of narcotic comfort that never satisfies. This is a beautifully bitter song, and I'm trying to do it justice.

Wish You were here is the ring tone on my cell!
I love synchronicity.
We must be kindred.
Remarkable. My personal policy for stealing images for my blog is to link the think to where I found it, so this goes to your blog, which I found compelling.
I have no doubt that we are linked in some way beyond this. I live in a world of synchronicity. Friends who also live in this magical state tell me this means we're all doing what we're meant to. I don't usually go in for the woo-woo shit, but the evidence speaks for itself.
Tim, great stuff on "Wish You Were Here."
I really enjoyed this rendition. Keep it up!
